Privacy policy

Deep Current is an underwater arcade game published by St. Ledger Apps. Dive progress stays on your device. The Google Play edition offers ads between dives and an optional one-time purchase to remove ads.

Progress and settings

Scores, completed dives, earned upgrades, audio and graphics settings, and control positions are stored locally. We do not operate a game account, cloud-save service, public player profile, chat system, or server that receives dive records. The game does not request contacts, microphone, camera, or precise-location access.

Ads in the free Google Play edition

Google AdMob supplies occasional ads between dives. Its SDK processes information to deliver, measure, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising. This includes IP address, which can indicate approximate location; device and SDK information or identifiers; app/ad interactions; and diagnostics and performance information. The information processed can depend on Google services and device settings. Our Android build removes advertising-identifier and Android AdServices identifier, topics, and attribution permissions.

All ad requests are configured for child-directed and under-age-of-consent treatment, non-personalized advertising, and general-audience content. No birthday is requested or saved. Those settings do not mean that an ad request has no data processing. No third-party mediation is used. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising information.

Free play checks for an internet connection before a new dive. A disconnect does not interrupt an active dive. Verified ad-free owners can play offline, and no ads are requested while ownership is verified. There is no separate developer-operated gameplay analytics or crash-reporting service.

One-time purchases

Google Play handles checkout, payment details, orders, refunds, and restoration through the Google account used for the purchase. The game does not receive card numbers. A signed receipt containing purchase identifiers needed to verify ad-free access is stored privately and encrypted on the device with Android Keystore, separately from ordinary progress and settings. No developer verification server receives it. Google Play is contacted to check or restore purchases. Purchasing or restoring requires an internet connection; already verified permanent ownership can be used offline.

Children and families

There are no game-account signups, public profiles, chat, uploads of user-generated content, or direct messages. The same conservative child-directed ad settings apply to every player. Optional purchases use Google Play and its parental controls. Parents can manage purchase approvals through Google Play and contact us with privacy concerns.

Retention and deletion

Local records and settings remain until removed through Android's app-storage controls or when app data is removed. Clearing storage removes local progress; it does not cancel or refund a Google Play purchase. Permanent ad-free access can be restored online with the same Google Play account. There is no developer-run account to delete or cloud copy of dive records to recover. Google controls retention of the advertising and payment data it processes; consult its policies and Google account/device controls.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to provide. We use correspondence to respond to support or privacy requests. Do not send card details, passwords, purchase tokens, or sensitive personal information. The game does not add support correspondents to a marketing list.

This website

These static pages contain no added analytics, ads, sign-in, or forms. Cloudflare processes normal web-request information to deliver and protect them. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. External destinations have their own policies.
